Britax B-Safe Stroller Compatibility: What Actually Fits
Short answer: Britax US infant car seats attach to strollers through a proprietary system called Click & Go, and Click & Go is genuinely closed to most third-party strollers for the B-Safe family. More surprising: Britax’s own current strollers don’t support B-Safe either. Britax’s own compatibility chart states plainly that its current lineup is not compatible with the legacy B-Safe, B-Safe Gen2, or Endeavours seats — Britax has moved its own stroller line on to newer infant seats (Willow, Willow S/SC, Cypress, Arbor). The only working adapter paths we found come from two other companies: BOB Gear and Baby Jogger.
Why this page is short — and why that’s the honest answer
This is one of the thinnest pages on the site, and that’s not a research gap — it’s the finding. Britax discontinued the B-Safe line in the US (replaced by Willow and Cypress), and Britax’s own March 2026 stroller compatibility chart says so explicitly. A retailer page that implies broad B-Safe compatibility across the current stroller market is either working from stale information or blurring “Britax stroller” with “third-party stroller adapter” — two very different things.
The short version
- Britax’s own current strollers (Brook, Brook+, Grove, Juniper, Juniper+, Phases, Prism) — No fit. Britax’s own 2026 chart explicitly excludes legacy B-Safe/B-Safe Gen2/Endeavours.
- BOB Gear (a Britax-owned brand) — still sells a “Single Jogging Stroller Adapter for Britax Infant Car Seats,” covering B-Safe, B-Safe 35, B-Safe 35 Elite, B-Safe Ultra, Endeavours, B-Safe Gen2, and B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit+, for several BOB frames.
- Baby Jogger — publishes a 2026 compatibility PDF listing the same B-Safe generations as compatible with two adapters (city sights, city select 2).
- Mockingbird — lists an official “Britax 5-in-1 Ring” adapter for B-Safe 35 and B-Safe Gen2/Gen2 FlexFit.
- UPPAbaby, Bumbleride — no adapter published for Britax B-Safe at all. UPPAbaby’s own documentation states Britax US seats use their own Click & Go system (see our Vista compatibility page, which already covers this exclusion).

A common false positive to avoid
BOB Gear’s “ClickTight” adapter shows up prominently in generic searches for “BOB Britax adapter” — but it’s for Britax convertible seats using the ClickTight install system, not the B-Safe infant seat line at all. We checked its product page directly: zero B-Safe references. If you’re shopping by search-result title alone, this is an easy wrong purchase to make.
What we could not verify
- Chicco strollers — only chiccousa.com’s site search was checked; no dedicated Britax compatibility document was located there. Not published as either a fit or no-fit.
- Bugaboo — bugaboo.com returned a server error on the adapter path we tried this pass. Unverified, not “no fit.”
- UPPAbaby’s exact current wording — support.uppababy.com returned a Cloudflare 403 on this specific research pass, so this page relies on our already-verified Vista compatibility page rather than a fresh UPPAbaby fetch.
- Older/retired Britax strollers (B-Agile, B-Lively, Pathway, B-Free, B-Mobile, B-Ready) — not checked, since they’re no longer part of Britax’s current lineup and a compatibility claim on a discontinued product isn’t useful to someone buying today.

Confirm before you buy. Compatibility and adapter part numbers change with model-years, and a wrong adapter is a safety issue. We cite each manufacturer’s own chart and show when we last verified it — but always confirm the exact pairing on the manufacturer’s current compatibility page or with their support before purchasing.
